The Microhome was the final project for first year. The intent was to combine all of my newly acquired skills to create a cohesive design presentation. I was tasked with researching the famous designer of the Aeron Chair, William Stumpf. Based on his values and aesthetic, I designed a small, efficient, urban home that would fit within certain parameters and suit his lifestyle. I designed a structure of interest and comfort and proceeded to sketch, draft, research products, render, and finally build a scaled model that would illustrate my vision.
